About the Artist

Vicki McMurry studied art at the University of Houston, and under masters such as Scott Christensen, Kevin MacPherson, Ovanes Berbarian and Ted Goerschner. She continues mastering her unique brushwork. Her artwork is currently displayed in corporations, hotels, hospitals, and the homes of long time supporters from over the past two decades.

Vicki is internationally recognized through her book Mastering Color, which has been published in English and Russian. She has also released an instructional video covering color, holds workshops every year, and has plans to release additional instructional videos in the future. Over the years, she has received awards, been featured in articles in magazines, participated in national art shows and assisted with fundraising for Ballet Austin.
